About STMA SchoolsWe are a district that serves over 6,000 students and employs 725 employees in a northwestern suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Our district is comprised of one primary school for kindergarten students, three elementary schools for grades 1-4, two middle schools for grades 5-8, and one high school for grades 9-12.Position Overview & ResponsibilitiesResponsible for developing and providing specialized, research-based instruction to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities. Also responsible for evaluating and assessing student progress against instructional objectives and following state mandated due process procedures and functions. For more information, please see the job description for this position.Start date: June 8Schedule: June 8 (Staff day), June 9 - 12, 15 - 18, 22-25; Hours approximately 7:30am-11:30am.FTE: 0.5Contract: 13 daysLocation:Albertville Primary (Preschool & Kindergarten)Fieldstone Elementary (grades 1-4)Middle School West (grades 5-12)Pay: $45/hour for current certified staff.Benefits: No additional benefits.Requirements & QualificationsBachelor's degree in education and required teaching certificate in Special Education as required by the State of Minnesota, specific content knowledge, training, or job experience required before appointment, and successful student teaching.
