Job HighlightsContract type: Independent ContractorSchedule: 40 hours/week; Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:30 pm ESTClient timezone: ET (Florida)Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Oracle NetSuite Developer and Administrator to join our IT and Finance Operations team. This hybrid role combines hands-on technical development with day-to-day NetSuite administration to ensure the platform evolves alongside business growth. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams—Finance, Operations, and IT—to optimize business processes, implement new functionality, and maintain a secure and efficient NetSuite environment.ResponsibilitiesNetSuite AdministrationConfigure and manage core NetSuite modules: Financials, CRM, Inventory, Order Management, and Advanced Revenue Management.Maintain user roles, permissions, workflows, and dashboards.Conduct regular system audits and monitor integrations for data integrity.Manage system upgrades, testing, and environment migrations.Act as the primary liaison with NetSuite support for troubleshooting and issue resolution.NetSuite DevelopmentDevelop and maintain SuiteScript 1.0/2.0 customizations, Suitelets, and scheduled scripts.Create and optimize custom fields, forms, saved searches, KPIs, and reports.Support and enhance NetSuite integrations (e.g., Salesforce, payroll, procurement) using REST/SOAP APIs or middleware tools.Translate business requirements into scalable NetSuite solutions.Business Process ImprovementIdentify inefficiencies in workflows and propose automated NetSuite solutions.Document system configurations, SOPs, and business process flows.Provide end-user training and guidance on best practices.Project & Stakeholder ManagementCollaborate with Finance, Accounting, and Operations teams to plan and execute NetSuite projects.Prioritize and manage enhancement requests and support tickets.Coordinate with vendors or implementation partners as needed.RequirementsRequired3+ years of experience as a NetSuite Developer and/or Administrator.Proficiency in SuiteScript (1.0 and 2.x), SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk, SuiteBuilder.Experience with NetSuite OneWorld, Advanced Financials, and Revenue Recognition.Familiarity with integration tools (e.g., Boomi, Celigo, MuleSoft).Solid understanding of finance/accounting workflows (e.g., P2P, O2C, GL, AP/AR).Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Demonstrated ability to manage projects and coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders.PreferredNetSuite Certified Administrator or Developer.Experience working in SaaS, multi-entity, or PE-backed environments.Working knowledge of SOX compliance and audit requirements.Experience with Salesforce, Adaptive Planning, or Avalara.Independent Contractor PerksHMO Coverage for eligible locationsPermanent work from homeImmediate hiringSteady freelance jobPlease note that since this is a permanent work-from-home position and an “Independent Contractor” arrangement, the candidates must have their own computer and internet connection.
