Manage the donor database, Raiser's Edge, and other interrelated databases, including digital files, in order for leadership to make informed decisions and to provide a high level of customer service to donors, based on accurate and reliable information About Urban Youth Impact Founded in 1997, Urban Youth Impact is the only faith-based organization serving the most at-risk inner-city youth in Palm Beach County, primarily through an award-winning after-school program. They are loved through trusting relationships, equipped with academics to succeed in school, empowered with leadership skills to begin successful careers, their potential is expanded by discovering artistic and creative talents, and they are guided to discover their purpose in life.Each week more than 300 inner-city youth are loved, equipped and empowered by this ministry and its funding partners through award-winning signature programs: Carver Christian Academy (CCA), The Leadership Academy (TLA), Reframe and CREATE.The primary focus is in neighborhoods identified by Children’s Services Council as areas with the most at-risk children based on indicators such as poverty levels, school readiness, graduation rates, teen birth rates, percent of children on free/reduced lunch and the evidence of fatherlessness. Areas include West Palm Beach’s Tamarind Avenue corridor and sections of Riviera Beach. Description Key Responsibilities: Manage the database of individual donors and business partners in compliance with the department’s policies and procedures. Accurately record daily income and maintain constituent records, including biographical and gift information received from checks, cash, online donations, event receipts, in-kind, credit cards, etc. in a timely manner based on established standards. Maintain complete and accurate files related to all processes, and uphold the integrity and confidentiality of donor and prospect data. Utilize the database to produce necessary reports, segmented data pulls, merges, emails, letters, invoices, statements and other related projects needed to fulfill department needs. Manage incoming donor calls and emails with high level customer service. Create thank you letters and all donor acknowledgements for donations. Produce year-end giving tax statements with accuracy, in a timely manner. Participate in Development Department responsibilities including events, direct mailings, and other projects. Collaborate with Finance Department to reconcile any discrepancies in donation and event records. Receive, document and report in-kind donation data to the Finance Department. Manage UYI online auctions through GiveSmart. Includes soliciting auction items, picking up items, creating the auction website, managing auction website and all donor acknowledgment. The key goals of this role are to ensure Donor data will be accurate, compliant and accessible. All donation gifts will be posted accurately and Development team notified in a timely manner. Assigned tasks will be executed on time, efficiently, and effectively. The key traits of this role include working knowledge of Raiser’s Edge/Blackbaud/RENXT database software and working knowledge/previous experience in non-profit atmosphere with a concentration in development and donor gift processing protocols. Applicant should work well independently, be an active problem-solver, have analytical and critical thinking skills with a strong attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational, time management, and workload management skills are required while collaborating effectively with fellow staff, other departments, and vendors. Applicant should have excellent oral and written communication skills and proficiency with computer software, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite. Applicant must be able to pass Level 2 background check. Qualifications: 2-year degree or 2+ years' experience preferred; reports to Director of Development; 40 hours weekly; Applicant needs to have an understanding that UYI is primarily a religious organization. Salary $20 - $20 per hour
