Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) – Part Time
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Part-Time Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has pediatric experience, strong clinical judgment, and a passion for empowering children through play-based and functional interventions. This role includes direct therapy, caregiver collaboration, documentation, and participation in multidisciplinary planning.
Responsibilities
Conduct high-quality evaluations, including standardized assessments and clinical observations
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting fine motor skills, sensory regulation, ADLs, motor planning, handwriting, feeding, sensory diets, and self-care
Provide engaging, play-based direct therapy sessions in clinic, home, or community settings
Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including session notes, progress reports, and re-evaluations
Collaborate with caregivers to support home-program carryover
Work closely with multidisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, client-centered care
Participate in team meetings, trainings, and clinical discussions as needed
Uphold professional and ethical standards of practice
Qualifications
Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy (OT)
Active OT license in Illinois (or eligible for licensure)
Pediatric experience (clinic, early intervention, schools, outpatient, ABA setting, etc.) preferred
Strong understanding of sensory integration principles and child development
Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently while maintaining clinical excellence
Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10.0 – 20.0 per week
