Advanced Strategic Insight (ASI) is seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to support the Senior VP of Corporate Affairs and the organization’s day-to-day financial operations. This role combines hands-on accounting with executive-level support in a fast-paced, compliance-driven government contracting environment.The ideal candidate has experience withDeltek’sCostpoint software and a strong understanding of government accounting practices. They thrive in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment and can seamlessly shift between focused, detail-oriented work and reactive, time-sensitive priorities without compromising quality or professionalism.Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Financial OperationsSupport accounting processes such as recording expense reports and vendor payments inDeltekCostpoint.Assistwith subcontractor operations, including tracking hours and travel for compliance, ensuring proper documentation, coordinatingcontractand funding modifications,validatinginvoices, and handling PO managementinCostpoint.Support journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end close.Assistwith financial reporting, data analysis, and auditpreparation.Maintain audit-ready documentation and ensure compliance with GAAP, FAR, andDCAA.Executive & Operational SupportSupport the SVP with dailyfinancial and administrativeprioritiesincluding scheduling, travel,organizingandmaintainingdepartment files.Track deadlines, audits, and key deliverables.Prepare financial presentations and leadership materials.Coordinate across internal teams and external vendors.Handle confidential communications and ad hoc research/projects.QualificationsAssociate or bachelor'sdegree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred3–5+ years of accounting/finance experience (government contracting preferred)DeltekCostpoint softwareexperienceStrong knowledge of GAAP, FAR, and DCAArequirementsProficiencyin Microsoft OfficeExceptional attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with minimal supervisionHigh levelof discretion and professionalism in handling confidential informationStrong written and verbal communication skillsPreferredExecutiveadministrativesupport experienceGovernmentcontract /project accountingAudit support experience(DCAA or external audits)What We OfferCompetitive salary + 401(k) with matchRemote flexibility + unlimited PTOExposure to executive leadershipCollaborative, mission-driven environmentASI, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
