This role involves medication dispensing, patient counseling, and collaboration with healthcare providers to ensure safe and effective treatment.Schedule DetailsTraining (First 2 Weeks):Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PMRegular Schedule Options (40 hours/week):Option 1: Five Days (Monday–Friday)2 shifts: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM3 shifts: 12:30 PM – 9:00 PMOption 2: Four Days (Monday–Friday)1 shift: 9:00 AM – 7:30 PM3 shifts: 10:30 AM – 9:00 PMNote: Candidates must be able to work closing shifts (ending at 9:00 PM) at least 3 days per week.ResponsibilitiesInterpret and dispense prescriptions in compliance with regulatory guidelinesPerform first and second verification of prescription ordersConduct drug utilization reviews (DURs)Consult with physicians, nursing staff, and prescribers on medications and patient careCounsel patients on medication use and potential drug interactionsHandle complex patient inquiries and resolve issuesCommunicate with prescriber offices and respond to patient inquiriesRequired SkillsActive Pharmacist (RPh) license (MA and CA required)Minimum 1 year of experience as a registered pharmacistStrong computer skillsExcellent patient counseling and customer service skillsAbility to collaborate with prescribers and healthcare teamsPreferred SkillsRetail or similar pharmacy experiencePharmD degreeTools/EnvironmentPharmacy systems and computer-based toolsDirect interaction with patients and healthcare providersOnsite clinical pharmacy environmentEducationBachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (required)PharmD (preferred)
