Department/Unit: Cardiovascular and Critical Care PRN Work Shift: Day (United States of America) Salary Range: $86,650.99 - $134,309.04The Nurse Educator is a nurse who, through clinical experience, study and supervise practice in patient care at the Bachelors level, has gained expertise in a specific specialty area of patient care services. • Demonstrates the advanced knowledge and skills required for specialty nursing. • Responsible and accountable for the development and application of specialty practice standards, staff development, regulatory compliance and research to enhance the quality of care to the patient and the patient’s family. • As an advanced practitioner, the Nurse Clinician is essential to the management of complex patient and systems related issues. Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in nursing. • New York State Registered Nurse registration and certification or eligible for licensure in New York State. • Demonstrated clinical competence and in depth knowledge in specialty area. • Demonstrated effective leadership, teaching, research and communication skills.
