Assembly AssociateInfintium Fuel Cell Systems, Inc. is developing next-generation small and medium hydrogen fuel cell systems in the Greenville, SC area. We are currently looking for an Assembly Associate who will be responsible for building the Power Cell Class I, II, and III products. As we are a small team, the candidate must be capable of setting and meeting goals reliably, with limited oversight. This role is perfect for a candidate with solid experience in manufacturing and looking to continue building on their skillset.The company's facility is located in Greenville, SCResponsibilities / Duties:This role at Infintium is expected to:Install finished components in fuel cells independently and assist on the process of building sub-components as necessaryProvide a good example on the basic safety standards and guidelines at the facilityHandle power tools and heavy equipment, including but not limited to power drills, forklifts, pump trucks, and an overhead craneReceive fuel cell component deliveries and prepare them for use on the production lineWrap and secure completed fuel cells for deliveryComplete preventative maintenance procedures and report malfunctions as neededMaintain a safe and clean working environment through mopping, sweeping, and garbage disposalIdentify non-conforming components in the fuel cell and remove as neededDocument all building actions by continually updating production signoff sheetsAccurately log inventory parts used in fuel cell production and assist with conducting inventory countsSafely operate the purging station and help others with operating the stationComplete other tasks as needed, including but not limited to prepping the workspace for the assembly process and assisting with final quality checksRequired Qualifications / Experience:The applicant for this position must meet these requisites:High School degree or GED equivalentAbility to read, write, and communicate in the English languageA minimum of 2 years worked in a heavy manufacturing or assembly environmentDesired Knowledge / SkillsIn addition, the ideal applicant also would meet the following:Experience in either the automotive or transportation assembly sectorAbility to function with minimal supervision and handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work on a deadlineExcellent organization skills and the ability to develop in a collaborative teamAn eye for detail, incumbent should always be looking out for any quality defects to ensure that each component is assembled correctly and meets a certain standardPhysical Demands and Work Environment:This position will be required to perform the below physical tasks:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit.
