Vice President of Finance - Manufacturing

Our fast-growing company is entering an exciting new phase of expansion. We seek a dynamic senior finance leader to drive operational financial discipline, enhance performance visibility, and unlock sustainable, profitable growth.As a key member of the executive team, the Vice President of Finance will partner closely with the CEO and senior leaders to sharpen bottom-line performance, strengthen operational financial oversight, and deliver clear, actionable financial insights across the organization. This role will be instrumental in aligning financial strategy with business objectives, ensuring the company is positioned for long-term success.Financial Strategy & Long-Term Planning: Develop and execute the company’s financial vision, assess feasibility of facility expansions, product launches, and capital projects, model ROI for automation/equipment upgrades, and evaluate funding strategies. Accounting and Reporting Oversight: Manage accounting functions, financial reporting, and governance across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and scalability. System Implementation and Process Improvement: Build and enforce financial systems, controls, and processes to support scaling, including ERP or SAP systems, and improve visibility into margins, inventory, and cash flow. Risk Management and Compliance: Identify and mitigate financial risks (e.g., commodity price volatility, currency exposure, regulatory changes) and develop contingency plans. Cash Flow & Working Capital Management: Monitor and optimize cash flow, manage receivables/payables, and ensure liquidity for operational continuity. Cost Control & Profitability: Drive unit cost visibility, analyze COGS, and collaborate with production to improve margins. Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with business development, operations, procurement, and logistics to align financial strategy with operational execution. Qualifications and Experience:Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or equivalent preferred.Experience: 10+ years in finance, with 5+ years manufacturing experience preferred; proven track record in budgeting, forecasting, and capital strategy.Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, ERP/SAP systems, financial modeling, and analytics tools.Soft Skills: Strong leadership, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and the ability to influence non-financial stakeholders.Industry Knowledge: Understanding manufacturing cost structures, supply chain dynamics, and regulatory environments is essential.
