Role SummaryThis role serves as a senior technical leader responsible for shaping, delivering, and scaling advanced AI solutions that address high-impact enterprise challenges. You will influence technical strategy, guide large transformational initiatives, and act as a trusted expert across applied AI domains.In this position, you will collaborate closely with engineering, product, and business leaders to translate AI research and experimentation into reliable, production-ready solutions. Your work will directly support enterprise decision-making, operational efficiency, and customer-facing innovation.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and deliver AI and machine learning solutions aligned with enterprise and business-line objectivesServe as a recognized internal authority in applied AI, helping set technical direction, standards, and best practicesLead large-scale, complex AI initiatives with enterprise-wide impact under consultative directionPartner with cross-functional stakeholders to identify high-value AI opportunities and define solution approachesGuide the development and deployment of machine learning models into production environmentsOptimize model performance, scalability, and reliability to meet enterprise-grade requirementsEstablish and oversee pipelines for data preparation, training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoringChampion responsible AI practices, ensuring fairness, transparency, security, and risk awareness across solutionsStay current on emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and industry trends to inform strategyKey Requirements5+ years of technical engineering experience with hands-on coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python (C# strongly preferred)2+ years of experience working with Python-based machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similarProven experience applying large language models (LLMs), generative AI, or agent-based frameworks to real business problemsDemonstrated success delivering at least one large-scale ML or AI application on a major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP)Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, deep learning architectures, data structures, and optimization techniquesExperience with MLOps tools and practices (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, MLflow) for scalable deploymentsAdvanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related fieldExcellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder-influencing skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into practical solutionsNice to Have:Experience with transformers, edge AI, federated learning, or real-time inference systemsContributions to open-source projects, published research, or patented AI innovationsWork LocationThis is a hybrid role. Candidates must be within commutable distance of Irvine, CA or Plano, TX.
