Focuses on servicing solo physicians and their allied healthcare professionals. Works directly with physicians and allied health care professionals and may also work with agent partners.  QualificationsExperience in Sales, Inside Sales, and effective lead generationProficiency in Business Development and driving revenue growthStrong Communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with clientsAbility to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment with some flexibility to work from homeMotivated self-starter with excellent organizational and time management abilitiesBachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferredExperience in the medical insurance or healthcare industry is a plusPRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Prioritizes incoming calls and online quote requests from prospects. Responds to questions and concerns from prospective insureds via telephone, email, and Drift (chat bot) with the goal of identifying their needs, providing accurate rate indications, and ultimately closing the sale.Utilizes educated consultative selling to create and leverage opportunities. Produces accurate indications in the system in a timely manner to provide to individual physician prospects, in compliance with service standards. Works with the underwriters to examine risks, determine discounts, and ensure accounts are appropriately covered for their exposure. Utilizes CRM database and other systems to input data, perform follow ups, track the sales cycle, and target prospective insureds. Involved in CRM updates and training. Generates leads and performs targeted outreach via emails and cold/warm/social calls to target leads.Builds and manages a pipeline of accounts.Develops a plan of action to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual new business premium goals and continuously works with management on status of these production goals. Collaborates with Marketing to develop and launch marketing campaigns.Represents TMLT and associated companies at tradeshows, conferences, networking socials, and other events and helps manage the prep/arrangements for these meetings.Keeps abreast of underwriting guidelines, market trends, and competitors. Facilitates training for team members as needed.Acts as back-up to other members of the Business Development Team.Develops personal and professional goals and plans to attain them. Pursues a continuous program of self-development. PERFORMS OTHER DUTIES AS REQUESTED REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Working knowledge of system, database, and CRM utilization.Basic knowledge of insurance practices and procedures, preferably Property and Casualty insurance.Ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, email, and virtual meetings with other employees, prospective clients, and agent partners.Strong time management and organizational skills.Skilled in English usage, spelling, grammar, punctuation, and arithmetic.Proficient in Microsoft applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Proficient in time management with a strong ability to manage a high volume of accounts. Ability to perform duties with a high degree of speed, accuracy, and initiative, without immediate and constant supervision.Comfortable with a high level of data entry and documentation.Ability to work effectively and multitask in a highly dynamic, competitive team environment with frequent interruptions.Ability to represent the company in a businesslike, ethical, and professional manner.Must be coachable and a team player.MINIMUM EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE:Bachelor’s degree preferred, and a minimum of three years of experience in insurance sales, preferably in medical professional liability. Must obtain Texas Department of Insurance General Lines Agent License within six months of employment and is responsible for maintaining license requirements.ORAny combination of education, training, and experience which would provide the level of knowledge, skills, and abilities required.OTHER:Occasional travel with evening commitments and possible overnight stays.
