Travel Speech Language Pathologist in West Springfield, MA

Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A specialized Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) role is available for the 2026/2027 school year in Ludlow, MA, serving high school students within a unique educational program. This opportunity focuses on supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and other learning differences through the Compass High Program at Ludlow High School, which emphasizes personalized and supportive education outside of traditional settings to foster independence.Key Responsibilities:Provide speech-language pathology services to high school students with ASD and learning differences.Supervise an SLPA, guiding their clinical support within the program.Collaborate with educational staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.Monitor student progress and adjust therapy approaches to meet evolving needs.Maintain compliance with state licensure requirements and documentation standards.Required Qualifications:Valid state licensure and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.Experience working in school settings, preferably with high school age students.Knowledge and skills in supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorders.Capability to supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants.Strong communication and collaboration skills within a multidisciplinary team.Location & Schedule:Assignment located in Ludlow, MA, with the main client office in West Springfield, MA.Position hours: 32.5 hours per week.Anticipated contract dates: August 27, 2026 June 22, 2027 (subject to school calendar confirmation).This travel assignment offers a rewarding environment to make a meaningful impact on students' communication and independence skills.
