Speech Therapist in Westfield, MA

Job Description Master&#39;s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A specialized contract opportunity is available for a certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2026-2027 school year, located in Ludlow, MA. This role is based within a distinctive high school program designed to support students with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and other learning differences. The program emphasizes personalized and supportive education outside traditional settings to promote independence and skill development.Key Responsibilities:Provide speech-language pathology services to high school students within the Compass High Program.Supervise a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) as part of the caseload management.Collaborate with educators and support staff to tailor interventions that support individualized student goals.Maintain thorough documentation and ensure compliance with state and program requirements.Qualifications:Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with valid state licensure.Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders or related learning differences is highly preferred.Ability to supervise and collaborate effectively with an SLPA.Strong communication and organizational skills to manage a high school caseload in a specialized educational setting.Details:Location: Ludlow, MA (clients main office is in West Springfield, but assignment is based in Ludlow)Contract duration: August 27, 2026 June 22, 2027 (dates are estimated, pending school year calendar release)Hours per week: 32.5This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students lives by supporting their communication and independence in a specialized learning environment.
