Why This Role Matters As a Senior Delivery Manager – Engineering, you will sit at the center of MTech’s global software execution engine. You are the force that ensures our engineering teams deliver high-quality, scalable, and reliable software at the velocity needed to support producers around the world. You won’t just oversee delivery—you will shape how engineering collaborates, how code moves from idea to production, and how we scale our development organization worldwide. You will directly lead and enable a team of 10 developers, ensuring they are aligned, productive, supported, and consistently producing code that meets our engineering standards. In this role, you will drive cross-functional alignment, eliminate delivery blockers, enforce technical discipline, and elevate execution across time zones and cultures. Your leadership will have a direct impact on the performance of our platform, the success of our teams, and the experience of our customers globally. What You’ll Do (Job Summary) As a Senior Delivery Manager – Engineering, you will drive high-performance software execution across global engineering teams and ensure consistent, high-quality delivery in a fast-growing SaaS environment. Your responsibilities include: Technical Execution & Code Quality Lead and participate in daily code reviews across frontend and backend repositories to ensure adherence to engineering standards and architectural principles. Investigate and resolve build failures, test regressions, and deployment issues in CI/CD pipelines. Validate pull requests for performance impact, test coverage, and maintainability. Collaborate with engineers to refactor legacy code and implement scalable, modular patterns as part of architectural improvements in the product. Team Leadership Directly manage a team of 10 developers: set goals, prioritize work, coach for impact, and create clear accountability. Foster a culture of ownership, transparency, and continuous improvement. Tech Stack & Tooling Oversight Operate fluently across a modern full-stack environment: Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript; .NET Core, C#, Node.js; SQL Server, Cosmos DB, Azure Data Lake, Databricks; Azure, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes; SonarQube, Postman, Testim, Azure Monitor, Power BI; and AI & automation with GitHub Copilot, MS Copilot, and internal AI agents. Global Delivery Management Own sprint execution, backlog health, and delivery velocity across distributed teams in the US, LATAM, and other global regions. Coordinate across time zones to ensure seamless handoffs, shared accountability, and consistent delivery practices. Standardize engineering rituals (standups, retros, demos) and enforce agile discipline across pods. Ensure teams are aligned on delivery goals, technical standards, and release readiness. Own and lead defect tracking, classification, and assignment within engineering. Drive a culture of “first-time-right” engineering and continuous improvement. Cross-Functional Integration Partner with QA to align test plans, automation coverage, and regression suites with delivery goals. Collaborate with Data Science and Product to ensure technical feasibility and delivery readiness of new features. Coordinate with DevOps to maintain build health, deployment reliability, and observability standards. Serve as first line of escalation for blockers, delivery risks, and cross-team misalignments. Use GitHub, Azure DevOps, Harvest, and internal dashboards to monitor and report on delivery health. AI-Augmented Delivery Leverage AI tools to generate test cases and performance benchmarks. Analyze productivity trends and delivery bottlenecks. Automate reporting and alerting for delivery health. Champion adoption of AI-assisted development practices across engineering teams. Leadership, Communication & Team Enablement Provide clear, data-backed insights into delivery health and team performance to engineering leadership. Mentor team leads and senior engineers on delivery best practices, architecture, and performance optimization. Identify underperforming contributors and lead performance improvement plans or transitions. Support hiring, onboarding, and upskilling of engineering talent across regions. What You Bring Required 8+ years of experience in software engineering or technical program management, including 3+ years in a delivery leadership role in global SaaS/high-growth tech companies. Strong coding background with ability to review, debug, and optimize production code. Deep familiarity with modern web and cloud-native architectures. Experience with AI tools like GitHub Copilot, MS Copilot, or internal agentic systems. Proficiency in GitHub, Azure DevOps, Harvest, and performance monitoring tools. Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders. Undergraduate degree in the US. Preferred Experience in high-growth, transformation-stage, or PE-backed SaaS companies. Exposure to AI agent orchestration, RAG pipelines, or intelligent automation frameworks. Familiarity with performance testing, SLA enforcement, and observability practices. Experience leading distributed teams across multiple time zones and cultures.
