Sr Director Revenue Management
We are seeking a Senior Director of Revenue Management who will be responsible for the overall development & Implementation of market pricing for a given geography in North America. In addition, forecasting demand and overall market planning are critical to the success of maximizing the revenue opportunity for the company. Responsibility includes working closely with the market leaders along with other key internal stakeholders including counterparts in Revenue Management, Operations, Sales, Fleet, Marketing, and other key departments to ensure that revenue is optimized efficiently.
What You'll Do:
Develop, design, and implement pricing & yield management initiatives across a range of car classes, products, services, and geographies to facilitate increased revenue and profit growth
Lead a broad team of revenue management professionals and indirect regional managers/directors within the respective Hertz RM Operations
Coordinate strategic discussions between RM, Sales, Operations, Marketing, and other constituencies to refine optimal pricing strategies.
Responsible for achieving or exceeding revenue and market targets/metrics
Lead improvement of systems, tools, and best practices to increase efficiency and accuracy of decision making from HQ to the local level
Provide central focus on developing key metrics and forecasting methodology
Lead research and reporting forward looking macroeconomic indicators
Monitor, measure, and communicate the effectiveness of current pricing strategies; re-designing or changing strategies and coaching as needed to increase the quality of day-to-day pricing execution; communicate changes to tactics and processes within our department as well as to key stakeholders.
Helps to create, update, and promote the adoption of robust processes for revenue management analysts, managers, and directors. This person is a strong advocate for effective change; pushing to develop and excel their careers.
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's level degree or equivalent required; preferably in Statistics, Marketing Analytics, Operations Research, Business Analytics, or Information Engineering. Advanced degree in fields of study strongly desired
9+ years previous experience in a revenue management and/or pricing strategy area required
5+ years of Revenue Management leadership experience required
3+ years of leading other leaders within the Revenue Management function required
Experience within a complex, demand/supply planning environment
