Our mission is to help clients achieve their real estate construction goals by providing personal attention to every detail, from planning through completion.Position SummaryThe Foreman is responsible for leading daily jobsite operations by interpreting plans and directing crews to complete work safely, efficiently, and to quality standards. This role manages coordination with subcontractors, tenants, and internal teams, while serving as the primary on-site contact for inspections and project approvals. The Foreman is also responsible for maintaining site orderliness, enforcing all safety requirements, and ensuring accurate documentation, reporting, photo updates, and communication with management using electronic tools and systems.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesRead, interpret, and apply construction plans, blueprints, engineering details, and sketches to direct work on site.Lead and manage daily jobsite operations, including assigning work, monitoring productivity, and ensuring work is completed to quality standards.Provide clear direction and ongoing communication to crew members to ensure expectations, priorities, and timelines are understood.Coordinate daily work activities with subcontractors, tenants, and internal teams to support project timelines and minimize disruptions.Communicate professionally with tenants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to address questions, resolve issues, and maintain positive working relationships.Provide regular project updates to management, including written status updates and photo documentation of progress, issues, and completed work.Maintain accurate documentation related to job progress, delays, change requests, safety issues, and site conditions.Maintain overall site orderliness, cleanliness, and organization throughout the duration of the project.Ensure compliance with all company safety requirements and applicable regulatory safety standards at all times.Lead by example on jobsite safety, including enforcing PPE requirements and safe work practices.Identify and correct unsafe conditions immediately and escalate safety concerns to management as required.Ensure crew members and subcontractors follow company safety procedures and regulatory requirements.Support safety meetings, toolbox talks, and incident reporting as needed.Serve as the on-site point of contact for inspection authorities, including city/deputy inspectors and engineers, to support approvals and project sign-offs.Complete required reports, forms, production tracking, and other documentation accurately and on time.Draft Requests for Information (RFIs), preferably including recommended solutions when appropriate.Use electronic tools and systems to document work and communicate, including email, Word, and Excel.Ensure consistent attendance and punctuality to meet project scheduling and operational needs.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis position oversees staffRequired QualificationsMinimum 6 months of hands-on experience working in a construction or installer roleExperience using basic power tools (drills, saws, nail guns, screw guns)Willingness to work variable schedules, including early mornings, weekends, and overtime as neededReliable transportation to job sitesComfortable working at heightsAbility to lift up to 50 poundsPreferred Experience3–5+ years of hands-on construction experience in a similar trade or field (carpentry, tenant improvements, general construction, restoration, etc.).1–3+ years of foreman, lead, or supervisory experience, including directing crews and coordinating jobsite activities.Experience working with inspection authorities, including city/deputy inspectors and engineers, to support approvals and project sign-offs.Strong working knowledge of jobsite safety requirements, including the ability to enforce company safety procedures and applicable regulatory standards.Experience coordinating work with subcontractors, tenants, and internal teams, including scheduling and communication in occupied environments.Required Skills & documentation and reporting, including photo documentation, daily reports, production tracking, and drafting RFIs (preferably with suggested solutions).Proficiency with electronic communication and reporting tools, including email, Microsoft Word, and Excel, and the ability to use mobile devices or tablets for jobsite reporting.Demonstrated ability to read, interpret, and apply plans, blueprints, engineering details, and job sketches.Strong communication skills, including the ability to provide clear direction to crews and communicate professionally with customers, subcontractors, inspectors, engineers, and management.Strong teamwork skills and a positive, professional attitudeReliable attendance and punctuality, with the ability to consistently meet scheduling and operational
