Hydrovac Assistant

As part of our team in Baltimore, MD, you will contribute to safe dig operations with cutting-edge equipment and a strong safety culture.Key responsibilities include:Assist in operating hydrovac equipment in diverse environments, including confined spacesAttend regular safety meetings and adhere to safety protocolsPerform routine inspections and minor repairs on equipmentPrepare work areas with appropriate safety measures and hazard mitigationAccurately document and report company, federal, state, and customer paperworkRequirementsRequired Qualifications:Valid driver's licenseAble to lift, push, and pull 50+ lbsAble to perform manual labor outdoors in varying weather conditionsAuthorized to work in the United StatesAble to work variable shifts with extended hoursAvailable to work weekends as neededPreferred Qualifications:Prior experience operating hydrovac equipment or in a related industrial role (excavation, utility work, vacuum truck, construction, oil & gas, environmental services)Experience performing routine equipment inspections and minor repairs in an industrial or field settingExperience completing job-site paperwork and documentation (safety forms, customer forms, regulatory paperwork, daily reports)High school diploma or GEDCPR/First Aid certificationOSHA 10 certificationFall Protection training/certificationExperience working in a customer-facing role on job sitesBenefitsUnion wages starting at $20.00/hour and up, based on experience, with opportunities for pay increases and career advancementOvertime availableUnion BenefitsMedical, Dental, and Vision coverageRetirement matchVacation programsTraining programs
