Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this role, it will be performed fulltime on site in Merrimack, NH. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to develop laser, electro-optic, and infrared systems for our defense aerospace customers with the Integrated Survivability Systems business line. The successful candidate will work as part of a cross-functional, multi-disciplinary team contributing to the design, modeling, simulation, and testing efforts that will evolve next-generation of autonomous systems supporting the digital/electronic warfare battle environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with Systems Engineering principles and previous hands-on work with lasers or electro-optics systemsRequired Education, Experience, & SkillsBachelor's degree in engineering or related STEM field with 2+ years of related experience; or Master's degree.Must possess an Active secret clearance and be eligible for a SAP/SAR clearanceExperience performing systems engineering activities across the development cycle (analysis/decomposition/derivation/allocation of requirements, system modeling & simulation, system design & development, system integration & test).Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with engineers in other disciplinesPreferred Education, Experience, & SkillsExperience with the full Systems Engineering lifecycleSpecific skills within the domains of active EO/IR, passive EO/IR or Electronic Warfare (EW)Executing tasks in Agile Environments (Sprints, Daily Scrums, Retrospectives)Experience with MBSE Digital Engineering and SysML applications/tools like MagicDrawPay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $79365 - $134921Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures.
