Job Description – On-Call Staff - San Diego
Summary:
As a member of the onsite operations team for MC&A, candidates must be able to work independently as well as communicate and work in a team environment. Friendly disposition and professional etiquette is required. The ability to execute various assignments throughout shifts.
Responsibilities:
Daily job duties will occur in various report locations around the city
Friendly, informative staff will be positioned at hotels, convention centers, attractions, or other locations to assist guests with boarding transportation and directing guests to designated event areas in a safe manner.
Greet and direct guests to/from scheduled transportation to the airport & area hotels or other specified destinations throughout the city
Assist in load in and load out for décor events
Registration & hospitality assistance (must be able to lift up to 25 lbs)
Assist with organization and execution of Teambuilding Activities, Tours, Activities, Community Service Events
Luggage handlers to assist loading/unloading of guest luggage at hotels and at the airport (must be able to lift up to 60lbs)
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
Knowledge & Skills Required:
Good communication skills
Self provided, reliable access to internet for completion of all necessary paperwork and timesheets
Positive and professional appearance and demeanor
Good time management skills
Open availability (Long shifts, nights and weekends are often requested)
Fluent in English (read & speaking)
