Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Clinic/Ambulatory Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Hours per Shift: 7.5 Experience: Two (2) years of Med/Surg or clinic experience is required. License: Client RN License. Certifications: AHA BLS AHA ACLS (Queens only) Must-Have: IV insertion and phlebotomy skills are required. Description: Two (2) years of Med/Surg or clinic experience is required. IV insertion and phlebotomy skills are required. Required skills include experience in Med/Surg and clinic settings. Additional skills desired include care for heart failure, cardiac arrhythmias, and hypertension. Experience with cardiac devices is essential. Candidates should be familiar with patient education related to cardiac care. Knowledge in right-sided and left-sided cardiac catheterization is necessary. Experience in electrophysiology studies is preferred. Candidates should also be versed in transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms. Experience with stress tests and tilt table testing is beneficial.
