Join a procedural nursing team in a coastal city with historic charm and excellent clinical cases./n/n/nJob Details/n/nLocation: Portsmouth, NH 03801 (Portsmouth, New Hampshire)/nPosition: Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (IR RN) / Travel RN/nSetting: Interventional Radiology – 2 IR Suites (Single Plane & Philips Bi-Plane)/nStart Date: March 30, 2026/nEnd Date: June 29, 2026/nDuration: 13 weeks/nShift: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM, 8-hour days/nHours per Week: 40/nWeekend Requirement: 1 weekend per month/nOn-Call: 1 call night per week/nEmployment Type: Travel RN / Travel nursing assignment/nEstimated Weekly Pay: $2,000 - $2,100 per week/n/n/nRequired Qualifications/n/nActive RN license in New Hampshire (NH RN license required at submission)/nCurrent ACLS and BLS certifications/nMinimum 1 year of clinical experience in procedural departments, critical care, ED, or moderate sedation experience/nAbility to live within a 40-minute radius of the hospital (local candidates preferred)/nInterventional Radiology or Cardiac Cath Lab experience a plus/nExperience administering moderate sedation, monitoring vascular procedures, and supporting angiography/cerebral interventions preferred/n/n/nKey Responsibilities/n/nProvide peri-procedural nursing care for patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures/nAssess and monitor patients before, during, and after procedures to ensure safety, hemodynamic stability, and comfort/nAdminister moderate sedation and manage airway/advanced cardiac life support interventions as needed/nSupport procedures including EKOS, angiograms, Trevo thrombectomy, cerebral coiling, biopsies, and other vascular interventions/nCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams (physicians, technologists, and nursing staff) in a high-acuity IR environment/nOperate and support imaging and monitoring equipment such as Philips Bi-Plane, GE monitoring systems, and GE Mac Lab/nDocument patient care and procedural details accurately in the EMR (Meditech)/nFunction independently as a procedural nurse and contribute to team-based clinical workflows/n/n/nWhy Join This Portsmouth, NH Travel RN Assignment/n/nHands-on Interventional Radiology experience in a facility with advanced imaging (Bi-Plane and single-plane suites)/nOpportunity to grow IR RN and vascular procedure skills (angiography, thrombectomy, coiling)/nSupportive multidisciplinary team and access to procedural nursing best practices/nPortsmouth, New Hampshire: desirable coastal location with cultural and outdoor attractions/n/n/nReady to apply?
