Avionics/Electrical Assembler
Avionics manufacturer is seeking Full-Time Assemblers.
Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:45pm
Position Overview:
Responsible for assembly from the individual component level to a high quality finished product. Provide final testing on a variety of aircraft instruments and avionics. Works in accordance with our high manufacturing standards for the purpose of achieving perfect function providing the customer with innovative, reliable and quality products.
Primary Responsibilities
Performs assembly of highly technical electronic components, parts, equipment, and systems to include de-soldering, troubleshooting, and component replacement
Conduct final testing on a variety of electronic instruments
Complete documentation such as shop, and manufacturing order records and submits required reports
Read and interpret assembly drawings and schematics, procedures, and technical manuals
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum one year experience in assembly of various types of avionic equipment such as altimeters, airspeed indicators, altitude indicators, etc. utilizing hand tools and electronic testing equipment
Minimum two-year electronics degree or equivalent education, training and work experience
Demonstrated understanding of advanced analog and digital electronics required
Proficiency with PCB soldering
Aptitude for fine, detailed mechanical work with a high level of accuracy
Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Organized, focused, and results-oriented
Solid problem solving and prioritizing ability
Work Conditions
Constant handle, feel and manipulation of small objects
Occasional lift and carry independently up to 50lbs
Well-lit, temperature-controlled, clean lab environment
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
Education:
High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
avionics/electrical assembly: 1 year (Required)
PCB soldering: 1 year (Required)
