Sr. Logistics Analyst, DFC Labor Management

Req174337Position PurposeA Logistics Sr. Analyst plays a critical role in sustaining and advancing supply chain and labor management capabilities across Direct Fulfillment and distribution operations. This role leverages advanced analytics, labor management system (LMS) expertise, and PEOPLE-driven performance insights to understand, predict, improve, and control operational outcomes. The Senior Analyst is responsible for data stewardship, performance measurement, root-cause analysis, and developing actionable recommendations that drive labor efficiency, productivity, service, and cost optimization in alignment with enterprise sustainment goals. Operates with minimal supervision, the Senior Analyst independently prioritizes and executes work across multiple initiatives, applying sound judgment within established business standards and PEOPLE/labor frameworks. This role supports and leads large-scale sustainment efforts across supply chain processes, ensures performance against business cases, and partners cross-functionally to resolve systemic issues. The Senior Analyst regularly communicates insights and recommendations to leadership and serves as a mentor to Analysts, strengthening analytical capability, operational discipline, and sustainment excellence across the network. Is a self-starter who is detail-oriented, comfortable leading multiple workstreams, and skilled in stakeholder communication and influence. This role requires strong collaboration across operations, supply chain, and vendor partners to ensure sustained performance, scalability, and long-term value creation for the business.Key Responsibilities25% Utilizes quantitative skills to create and analyze reports to support business execution. Mentors and guides Logistics Analysts20% Performs data management through data mining/data modeling/data analysis/cost/benefit analysis/process mapping/%/or problem analysis while executing day to day processes related to area of responsibility. Develops & maintains cost estimates, forecasts, and cost models. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.Minimum QualificationsMust be eighteen years of age or older.Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Mathematics, Finance, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.Experience supporting and sustaining Labor Management Systems (LMS) and workforce/PEOPLE performance metrics across supply chain operations.Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain productivity, effectiveness, compliance, and payroll scorecards, identify trends/anomalies, and drive corrective actions tied to labor standards and business cases.Strong forecasting, scenario modeling, and capacity planning skills to support labor planning, peak readiness, and workload balancing; able to translate complex data into actionable insights.Experience with Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies, including root-cause analysis, waste reduction, and sustaining standard work through scalable solutions.Advanced analytical and technical proficiency using Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project, Word, Visio) along with tools such as Minitab, SQL, and VBA/Visual Basic, including Visio process mapping for documentation and sustainment.Proven project management and cross-functional partnership experience (Operations, IT, Engineering, vendors), with exposure to Finance/CBA or capital budgeting and the ability to clearly communicate performance insights to leadership.Minimum EducationThe knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.Preferred EducationNo additional educationMinimum Years Of Work Experience3Preferred Years Of Work ExperienceNo additional years of experienceMinimum Leadership ExperienceNonePreferred Leadership ExperienceNoneCertificationsNoneCompetenciesNone
