As a Production Brewer you will be accountable for all aspects of wort production, cellar activities, clarifying beer, and more.SHIFT: 2:00PM - 12:00AM, Mon – ThursInitial training will likely take place on day shift (6:00AM – 2:00PM), Mon – Fri, to startPAY: $20.00 - $23.00/hr, plus shift differential after 10:00pm.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES:Responsible for following SOPs while maintaining high quality standards in all areas of beer productionAbility to multitask and perform all aspects of the department (brewhouse, cellar, filtration, blending)Troubleshoot issues during operationFollow all safety and policy processes throughout the breweryMaintain a clean, sanitary, and presentable work environmentDisplay a positive attitude and works well with others in a team environmentOrganization and record keepingPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Stand for duration of shifts (with meal breaks)Frequent use of hands and fingers to handle, reach, lift, carry and lower objects up to 60 poundsFrequent use of latches, hand tools, clamps, hoses, etc., requiring manipulative skills and hand-eye coordinationBend, squat and move around production floor as neededDrive forklift and use pallet jacks as necessaryComfortable and able to safely work at elevated heights and use laddersJOB QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree or coursework in a science discipline or engineering is desirable, or equivalent years of experienceProfessional brewing certificate preferred2 years of brewing experience as assistant brewer or brewer preferred; knowledge of practices, methods, tools, and equipment used in production and pub-style brewing General knowledge of occupational hazards and necessary safety precautions associated with workAbility to follow oral and written instructions including interpret technical bulletins and schematics on equipment related to workShift flexibility to work mornings, afternoons or weekends as neededMust be 21-years of age or older BENEFITS:Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, and Life insurance401k with employer matchPaid company holidaysPaid vacation and sick time offEmployee Assistance ProgramFree Beer!Tilray welcomes applications from all qualified individuals and is committed to employment equity and diversity in the workplace.  Tilray does not use artificial intelligence tools to screen, assess, or select applicants.Accommodations are available for applicants with disabilities throughout the recruitment process.
