This role requires flexibility and strong clinical skills to care for both pediatric and adult patients in a dynamic acute care setting. Key Responsibilities Provide care for both pediatric and adult Med Surg/Telemetry patients Monitor and treat conditions such as: Pediatrics: RSV, influenza, COVID, seizures, dehydration Adults: COPD, pneumonia, infections, post-surgical cases Interpret telemetry strips for adult patients Assist in stabilizing pediatric patients for transfer if acuity increases Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care Float to MST, MCU, or other related units as needed Unit Details Beds: 10 Patient Ratios: Pediatrics: 1:3–4 Adult MST: 1:5 Charting System: Cerner Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Floating: Required (MST, MCU, and related units) Schedule & Requirements Night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Holiday Requirement: Rotational On-Call/Standby: Possible during low census About United Health Care Staffing, Inc."Better Pay" and "Zero Headaches" and Ready to love your scrubs again?
