With a lineup ranging from inkjet printers and digital printing systems to 3LCD projectors, smart glasses, sensing systems, and industrial robots, the company focuses on driving innovations and exceeding customer expectations in inkjet, visual communications, wearables, and robotics.We are currently looking for an Assistant Operations Manager to support our 1st shift by leading and developing across a large, fast-paced distribution environment.Employee BenefitsComprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance effective Day 1Generous paid time off, including sick time, vacation, and holidaysAnnual bonus program for all employees401(k) plan with company matchingTuition reimbursement, employee assistance program, employee discounts, and much moreWhat You Will Be DoingAs an Assistant Operations Manager, you will be responsible for both operational performance and leadership capability.Lead and develop multiple salaried Supervisors across distribution functions Set performance standards and targets for your team and designated areasIdentify and implement process improvements in shipping, receiving, and quality to boost efficiencyCoordinate outbound carrier schedules and appointments to meet delivery timelinesEnsure outbound shipments meet customer compliance requirementsProvide performance reports and analysis, and recommend improvements to your managerOversee administrative tasks related to shipping, receiving, and inventorySupport and execute safety, security, and facility maintenance programsMaximize the use of warehouse management systems to improve labor efficiency and meet service goalsRecommend system enhancements for continuous improvementEnsure team training and compliance with ISO 9001-2000 and ISO 14001standardsParticipate in third-party auditsHire, motivate, evaluate, and develop team membersProvide coaching and mentoring to your teamAdvise management on personnel matters and escalate issues when neededWork within budgetary guidelines and assist in developing and reconciling annual budgetsCreate and maintain written departmental standards and proceduresWhat You Will BringYour background and experience should include:Proven experience managing and developing leaders at the Supervisor level or higherA track record of successfully leading and implementing process improvementsStrong understanding of warehouse operations, logistics, and supply chain managementExperience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP platforms Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights to improve operational efficiencyExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teamsDemonstrated success in driving safety, quality, and compliance initiativesStrong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projectsThe starting annual base pay for this role is between USD $80,000 and $94,000 per year. Please note that this position’s salary range may include multiple levels. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands.
