Overview:Department: Respiratory TherapyFacility: Resurrection Medical CenterLocation: 7435 W Talcott Ave, Chicago, IL 60631Schedule: 12-hour nights, non-exemptSign-On Bonus: $15,000.00Responsibilities:In the absence of a supervisor, the CRT/RCP I may serve as Lead RCP, overseeing operations during their shift.Provide respiratory care and pulmonary therapy per physician ordersManage mechanical ventilation, oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and airway managementPerform and interpret arterial blood gas (ABG) analysisConduct pulmonary diagnostic procedures and patient assessmentsImplement patient-specific care plansDocument patient care, interventions, and outcomes accuratelyServe as Lead RCP in the absence of a supervisorRespond to critical care situations and emergenciesCollaborate with interdisciplinary teamsQualifications:EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAININGState Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License requiredCurrent BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.2 years experience as a RCP preferred.ACLS certificate within 60 days of hire and maintain currentNRP certificate preferredPALS certificate within 60 days of hire and maintain current.Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science degree preferredHigh School Diploma or equivalent is requiredappcast #LI-TA1Pay Transparency:Resurrection Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $33.50 to $45.09.
