We are seeking a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist to provide locum tenens support near Skippack, Pennsylvania. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced generalist anesthesiologist to work in a dynamic and supportive environment. Position Details: Start Date: January 27, 2025Duration: Ongoing assignment with a preference for full-time availability.Schedule:Monday through Friday10-hour day shifts onlyNo call requiredSetting:Both inpatient and outpatientFacility includes 24 operating rooms in a 720-bed hospitalPatient Demographics:Age range: 1 year and olderAverage of 50 patients per shift Responsibilities: General anesthesiology cases only; no cardiac anesthesia required.Cases include:General surgery, orthopedic, trauma, OB, neuro, vascular, and regional anesthesia.Excludes cardiac and pediatric cardiac cases.Skills required:Epidural and spinal anesthesiaRegional blocks (including post-operative extremity blocks)Ventilation and central line management Requirements: Board Certification in AnesthesiologyActive ACLS, BLS, and PALS certificationsMinimum of 2 weeks of availability per month preferred, with full-time coverage highly desirable.Must have a clean malpractice history and NPDB.Experience with EPIC EMR is required. Support and Resources: Collaborative team of anesthesiologists, LPNs, anesthesia techs, and NPs.No supervision of advance practice providers required.Travel and lodging support available for qualified candidates.
