AssemblerThis role focuses on assembling, testing, and packaging electro-mechanical products in a lean, production cell environment. You will work with small parts, hand tools, and basic testing equipment to build high-quality assemblies that meet customer specifications. The position requires attention to detail, the ability to follow visual and written instructions, and comfort working on your feet in a fast-paced production setting.ResponsibilitiesAssemble electro-mechanical products using small parts, hand tools, and production equipment.Work within a production cell to test, build, and package products according to established procedures.Perform basic go/no-go testing of circuit boards to verify functionality.Complete wire bonding and RF soldering for sub-assemblies as required.Follow visual and written work instructions to add customer-specific components to assemblies.Package finished products securely and stage them for shipping.Notify material handlers promptly of part shortages or material issues.Use a computer to access work instructions, record production information, and complete basic data entry.Maintain a clean and organized work area in line with lean manufacturing and ESD requirements.Lift and move materials or products weighing up to 35 pounds as part of daily tasks.Stand for extended periods while performing assembly, testing, and packaging activities.Collaborate with team members and rotate between teams or tasks as needed to support production goals.Essential SkillsHands-on assembly experience, preferably in a production or assembly line environment.Experience working with small parts and detailed components.Proficiency using basic hand tools for mechanical assembly.Ability to perform basic testing tasks such as go/no-go testing of circuit boards.Familiarity with soldering, including RF soldering for sub-assemblies.Ability to read and follow visual and written work instructions accurately.General production and mechanical assembly experience.Ability to use a computer for basic tasks and accessing work instructions.Strong understanding of English to follow instructions and communicate effectively.Capability to lift up to 35 pounds safely on a regular basis.Ability to stand for extended periods while performing assembly and production tasks.Experience in production of small parts or similar manufacturing experience.Ability to provide references for the last five jobs or the last seven years of work history.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience working in a lean manufacturing environment.Familiarity with kanban or similar production control systems.Comfort working in a production cell environment with rotating tasks.Experience with general production, assembly production, and packaging processes.Flexible personality and willingness to rotate between different teams and responsibilities.Awareness of ESD (electrostatic discharge) practices in a production setting.Why Work Here?The company offers a supportive and engaging workplace with a variety of on-site perks and employee-focused benefits.
