The successful candidate will be a trusted advisor to senior leadership and the board, providing legal and compliance leadership that goes beyond policy to influence the company's national and multi-state operations in a highly regulated healthcare environment. Key responsibilities include serving as the senior legal leader, designing and maturing an enterprise compliance program, translating legal and regulatory requirements into operational guidance, and leading the legal and compliance function with a focus on scaling and development.This executive position requires a candidate with over 10 years' of progressive legal leadership experience in highly regulated healthcare environments, a strong working knowledge of healthcare regulatory frameworks, and experience in multi-state or multi-division operations. The ideal candidate will be a business-minded, pragmatic leader with a proven track record of advising senior executives and boards on complex legal, regulatory, and risk matters. While experience in behavioral health or similarly regulated healthcare services is preferred, it is not mandatory. The role demands a professional with sound judgment, executive presence, and the ability to communicate enterprise risk and compliance posture effectively.
