Travel RN - Med/Surg - Oncology - Chemo Certified

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Outpatient Infusion/Oncology position requiring a DC RN license, ONS/ONCC chemotherapy certification, and at least one prior travel assignment.Job Details• Outpatient infusion center setting specializing in oncology (Lombardi Cancer Center),• Oncology patient population including chemotherapy, biotherapy, and oncologic emergencies,• Skills utilized include IV therapy/infusions, medication administration, IV push narcotic agents, isolation and neutropenic precautions, and symptom management,• Phlebotomy skills and prior charge experience are preferred,• BMT and inpatient oncology experience is preferred,• Schedule is 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM,• Every other weekend coverage required,• Floating required within units of equivalent or lower acuity,Job Requirements• Active DC RN license required and must be in hand at time of consideration,• Current certifications required: BLS and Chemotherapy ONS/ONCC,• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required,• At least 1 prior travel assignment required,• Outpatient oncology and infusion center experience required,Additional Information• Candidates living within 60 miles of the facility may be subject to a local pay rate,• Flu vaccine required,• 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration,• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration,
