Job Title: IT Project Manager (Global Markets / Post-Trade)Work Location: 3 days onsite | Midtown, NYCTerms: Long-term ContractOverviewThis is an opportunity to play a key role in a large-scale transformation within global markets operations. You’ll lead the IT delivery of a new back-office platform, working across operations, compliance, and technology teams to drive a high-impact implementation targeted for late 2026. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys complex, cross-functional initiatives and wants to be at the center of a global program with real visibility.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end delivery of an IT workstream supporting the implementation of a new back-office platform for global markets operations, ensuring alignment with overall program timelines and objectivesOwn and maintain the IT project plan, including tracking change requests, managing dependencies, and ensuring synchronization with broader program plansPartner cross-functionally with business analysts, developers, operations, and compliance stakeholders to drive execution and resolve issuesEstablish and enforce governance frameworks, including decision-making processes, escalation paths, and adherence to regulatory and internal standardsDevelop and manage project budgets, resources, and timelines to ensure successful deliveryProvide regular status updates to stakeholders, managing expectations and ensuring transparency across all phases of the projectOversee testing, deployment, and production readiness activities, ensuring a smooth rollout and transition to operationsTrack and manage risks, issues, and post-release defects, driving timely resolutionLead project closure activities, including obtaining sign-off, documenting lessons learned, and archiving project artifactsRequired Experience & Skills5–9 years of experience in IT project management within financial services or bankingStrong understanding of operational or regulatory technology initiativesExperience working across business analysis, development, and delivery teamsHands-on experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum) and/or PMP frameworkProficiency with project tracking tools such as JiraEducationBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
