Cloud Operations Engineer
Data Intelligence, LLC (DI) is seeking a Software Engineer III / Cloud Operations Engineer to join our SSDS team supporting the U.S. Navy's Aegis Weapons System in Moorestown, NJ. This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in containerization, Kubernetes, DevOps, and cloud-native operations who enjoys working in highly technical, mission-focused environments.The selected candidate will help maintain and support an onsite virtualization and containerized infrastructure environment while collaborating across engineering, security, and operational teams.ResponsibilitiesManage and support containerized environments using Podman, Docker, and Docker ComposeDeploy, monitor, and scale applications in Kubernetes environmentsBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines for reliable software deploymentCollaborate with development, security, and product teams to maintain servicesCreate and maintain operational documentation and runbooksSupport cloud-native and virtualization initiatives in a secure environmentQualificationsBachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent).5-7+ years of experience in cloud operations, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), and DevOps EngineeringHands-On experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and PodmanScripting experience with Bash and/or PythonExperience with Git or version control systemsFamiliarity with Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) such as EclipseExperience with monitoring/logging tools (i.e.,Prometheus and Grafana)Strong understanding of networking, cloud security, and IAM conceptsStrong problem-solving and communication skillsMust be a U.S. Citizen with a current interim or current active security clearance (secret level or higher).
