Its employees consistently rank Moss as one of the best places to work.POSITION SCOPE AND ORGANIZATIONAL IMPACTMoss' BESS Senior Electrical Superintendents plan, schedule, organize and direct the construction of major solar projects. They are responsible for all field execution of the project. Senior superintendents typically will have several Superintendents as direct reports. Senior Superintendents are responsible for coordinating the timely and cost-effective placement of the contracted work. They supervise directly or through subordinates all field construction work by the company's forces and by the Subcontractors. They are responsible for all pertinent Safety and Quality Control policies and procedures.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESManage multiple utility scale solar/bess projectsOwner interface and resource planning at program levelSupport superintendents in owner discussionsWork with Project Management team for subcontractsSupport and mentor direct reports as well as manage performance reviewsCreate, distribute, and enforce best practices for Electrical Field OperationsProject completion and closeout coordinationCreation and monitoring of safety initiativesHelp manage procurement and engineering scheduleSupport Electrical Superintendents in creation of project schedulesAssist with scheduling shared resourcesAssist managing subcontracted resources across portfolioCoordinate with other departments for resource expectations (QC, commissioning, substation, etc.)Budget and schedule reportingSupports Project Executive in project change discussionsFront end/design involvementOversees internal design review and coordinationCoordinate with Pre-Construction for site visitsEstimate upcoming projectsInterviewing and onboarding of new salaried personnelPerform other duties as assignedEDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCEBachelor's in construction management, engineering or related field preferred5 years' experience as the General Superintendent on utility scale solar/bess projectsJourneyman or masters license (including NASCLA or other way to demonstrate proficiency in electrical best practices), or ability to obtain within 6 months after hireSTS-C Certification at a minimum, or the ability to obtain within 6 months after hireExperience with multiple direct reports and an exceptional ability to lead and manage project teams is a necessityJOB TITLE:BESS SENIOR ELECTRICAL SUPERINTENDENT JOB LOCATION:MULTI-STATE, REQUIRES HIGH TRAVEL CLASSIFICATION:FULL TIME - EXEMPT - SALARIED REPORTS TO:VICE PRESIDENT OF ELECTRICAL FIELD OPERATIONSMossis an equal opportunity employer.
