Plays a key role in optimizing Delek's refinery, pipeline, and logistics assets through strategic marketing of physical commodities across key market locations. Cultivates and manages ongoing business relationships, identifies new commercial opportunities, and supports the execution of energy transactions within the broader Commercial organization.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE4 year / Bachelor's Degree (Required)Master's Degree (Preferred)In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.Two (2) or more years Management experience (Required)Two (2) or more years Commercial marketing experience (Required)Four (4) or more years Commercial marketing experience, (Preferred)Four (4) or more years Management experience, (Preferred)Ten (10) or more years Experience in a related field (Required)Asphalt Experience (Required)No Licensure or Certification Required. JOB REQUIREMENTSMust have thorough understanding of marketing physical commodities, energy market knowledge, understand market trends, and product and pricing optimization initiatives.Leads Delek's commercial marketing teams, ensuring strategic optimal alignment with product strategies, which include selling physical commoditiesOversees the development of commercial business relationships and promptly address operational concernsDevelops and implements strategies to grow market share and commercial value by analyzing market dynamics and competitive offerings, enabling programs that capitalize on emerging opportunities in both new and existing marketsProvides strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership to support decision-makingOversees execution of sales and marketing initiatives, including the rollout of new product offeringsSupports the negotiation and execution of short- and long-term commercial deals that contribute to business growthDrives process improvements across commercial functions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in marketing and asset managementMonitors competitive intelligence across regions and share actionable insights with leadershipManages budgeting, resource allocation, and external partnerships to support commercial initiativesRepresents Delek at industry events, conferences, and customer engagements to strengthen market presenceIf Crude marketing: Leads the development of strategic analysis for team to facilitate decision making and present to executive management on crude oil marketing business strategyIf Crude marketing: Collaborates with key counterparts, including producers, pipeline operators, trucking companies, and other refiners to support crude oil marketing businessIf Asphalt marketing: Possess a foundational understanding of asphalt, roofing & industrial, sales strategies, logistics operations, and process improvement methodologies to ensure the organization can achieve their strategic financial objectivesIf Asphalt marketing: Supports the growth of Asphalt (paving, roofing & industrial) and service sales by identifying prospects, building relationships, and providing excellent customer serviceIf Products marketing: Possess a foundational understanding of paving, roofing & industrial components to ensure the organization can achieve their strategic financial objectivesWhile this job description aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the role, it may not detail every task or responsibility required.
