Food Production Manager
POSITION OVERVIEWWe are seeking a hands-on Production Manager to lead daily manufacturing operations across multiple product lines.This role is responsible for production execution, staff management, batch record oversight, and operational efficiency. You will be the key driver ensuring production runs smoothly, on schedule, and in compliance with GMP standards.This is not a desk-only role—you will be actively involved on the production floor.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESProduction ManagementOversee daily production across gummies, powders, capsules, and specialty formatsBuild and manage production schedules to meet client deadlinesEnsure efficient use of labor, equipment, and materialsTroubleshoot production issues in real-timeOversee BatchingBatch Records & ComplianceCreate, review, and verify Master Batch Records (MBRs) and Batch Production Records (BPRs)Ensure all documentation meets GMP / CFR111 standardsImplement and maintain double QC verification processesWork closely with Quality to ensure product consistency and compliance Team LeadershipManage, train, and develop production staff and leadsSet daily production goals and hold team accountableMaintain a clean, organized, and GMP-compliant facilityFoster a culture of ownership, urgency, and accountabilityOperations & EfficiencyIdentify and implement process improvementsReduce waste and increase throughputCoordinate with R&D, Packaging, and Inventory teamsEnsure all equipment is functioning properly and maintainedQUALIFICATIONS:REQUIRED3+ years experience in manufacturing production managementExperience in food, nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, or edible productionStrong understanding of batch records and GMP processesProven ability to manage teams and production schedulesHands-on, problem-solving mindsetTeam PlayerPREFERREDExperience with gummies or confectionery productionFamiliarity with multi-line manufacturing environmentsExperience in high-mix, fast-paced production settingsCOMPENSATION$95,000 – $110,000 base salary (based on experience)Paid Time OffOpportunity for growth as the company scalesSCHEDULEFull-time, on-site in Tampa, FLMust be available to support production schedules as neededWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR: We are not looking for someone to “manage from a distance.” We are looking for someone who:Takes ownership of productionMoves fast and solves problemsCan build structure in a growing environmentLeads by example on the floor Detail orientedAbility to multi taskTeam Player
