In this role, you will own the end-to-end permitting process across our projects, ensuring Vessel’s product meets all applicable codes, regulations, and municipal requirements.You will serve as the primary interface between Vessel and municipalities, government agencies, and local officials—driving approvals, resolving comments, and ensuring projects move forward efficiently. If you would like more information about how your data is processed, please contact us.What You'll DoManage the full permitting lifecycle across projects, from initial research and submission through final approvalsServe as the primary point of contact with municipalities, building departments, and regulatory agenciesReview architectural and construction documents to ensure compliance with local codes, zoning, and regulatory requirementsIdentify required permits and proactively drive submission, tracking, and approval timelines to avoid project delaysRespond to plan check comments and work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to resolve issuesPartner with design and construction teams to ensure plans meet jurisdictional requirements prior to submissionSupport inspections and ensure compliance with permit conditions throughout the construction processIdentify risks, bottlenecks, and jurisdictional nuances early and develop strategies to navigate themMaintain organized documentation and tracking systems for permits, approvals, and regulatory requirementsMonitor changes in codes, regulations, and local policies, and communicate impacts to internal teamsHelp standardize and scale permitting processes as Vessel expands
