UX Designer
UX DesignerResponsibilities:Analyze, design and prototype new features for self-serve platforms (eCommerce, online self-serve portal and mobile app) through visual specifications, wireframes, sketches, blueprints and mock-upsIdentify the scope of work and provide estimates for User Experience (UX) and User Interaction (UI) activitiesRun UX workshops to identify and qualify personasPerform usability testing to ensure that end solutions match requirementsParticipate in and lead design reviewsCompose UX Audit reports with rationale and recommendationsCollaborate on user experience planning for digital assetsIdentify and troubleshoot UX problems and struggle areasIncorporate corporate standards and industry best practices into solution designFacilitate and incorporate usability testing feedback into solution designsWork with Information Systems department for UX design and release managementDeliver designs from concept through to developmentFacilitate and participate in user requirements gathering for self-serve projectsMaintain UX and UI professional development and certifications (as appropriate)Other UX duties as requiredQualifications:5+ years' experience in a UX designer role is desired with proven work experienceProficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Invision, etc.Advanced understanding of self-serve and eCommerce websites and mobile appsExperience conducting and leading UX research practices and auditsExperience with UX design for digital assets (website, ecommerce platforms, self-management platforms)Experience with user interface guidelines and typical conventions for iPhone, Android and Windows PhoneTeam player, strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with various stakeholdersExperience conducting and analyzing competitive and consumer researchExcellent time management skills with proven ability to multi-taskProven attention to detail and exceptional organization, logic and analytical skillsExperience with Agile projectsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Design, Development, Engineering, Business or relevant fieldUser experience and/or user interaction design training and/or certification desiredFamiliarity with User Experience design considered a strong assetFamiliarity with the telecommunications industry is considered an asset
