Loan Administrator

You'll work closely with borrowers, contractors, and internal teams to manage construction draw requests, monitor project progress, and ensure compliance throughout the loan lifecycle.This position is ideal for someone who thrives on organization, problem-solving, and relationship management while working on a wide variety of construction projects across the country.Essential Job Functions Manage a portfolio of construction loans at various stages of the construction lifecycle Review, reconcile, and process construction draw requests accurately and efficiently Utilize technology platforms to manage loan files, upload documentation, enter budgets, and track project activity Monitor project timelines and proactively identify potential delays or issues Process loan extensions and servicing actions as needed Review post-closing construction loan documentation for accuracy and compliance Order and review project inspections and reconcile construction budgets Analyze project financials, including sources and uses, budgets, architectural plans, and site plans Maintain regular communication and strong working relationships with borrowers and general contractors Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments to meet deadlines and support successful project completion Ensure compliance with Celtic Bank policies as well as state and federal regulations Perform additional duties and special projects as assignedRequirementsESSENTIAL SKILLS:Knowledge of commercial construction lending practices and procedures preferred Understanding of budgeting and accounting principles Minimum of 6 months of experience processing commercial construction draws and lien waivers preferred Familiarity with construction finance, the building process, and industry terminology preferred Strong technical proficiency with Adobe Acrobat DC and Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneDrive, and Salesforce Experience with Built Technologies construction draw processing software preferred Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to work independently Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously Proven ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment with exceptional time management and planning skills Quick learner with the flexibility to adapt to new systems, processes, and evolving business needs Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships across teams, clients, and external partnersBenefitsMedical, dental, vision401(k) with employer matchLife and long-term disability coverageHSA and FSA plansHolidays and paid time off requestsRobust wellness program (we're talking catered meals three times a week, lunch and learns, and onsite gym!)Headquartered in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City, Utah, Celtic Bank was named a top SBA lender in the nation in 2025!
