Secretary - Special Education Coordinator
This position provides secretarial support and office management to Coordinators, requiring a high school diploma or GED, college hours preferred, and knowledge of file management systems.Responsibilities include typing correspondence, coordinating communication, greeting visitors, managing mail, maintaining files, inventory, and supplies.Additional duties involve handling phone calls, scheduling, supporting Special Education operations, managing budgets, creating graphics, assisting with data entry, organizing meetings, and maintaining documentation for programs like ESY and CBI.The role requires strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and computer skills, confidentiality, and the ability to work under stress.Work involves frequent interruptions, use of office equipment, and providing personal care as needed for students.This is a non-exempt position with 238 duty days, reporting to a Coordinator.
