Hospital Laboratory Manager

The Hospital Laboratory Manager will optimize turnaround times across chemistry, hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, microbiology, and transfusion services to power evidence-based care for complex emergency and surgical cases.The Hospital Laboratory Manager will report to the Director of Laboratory Services while collaborating closely with the Emergency Department leadership, medical staff, and ancillary service directors. The Hospital Laboratory Manager will lead a friendly, diverse team of CLS/MLS professionals, phlebotomy, and technical specialists, with strong administrative support for staffing, budgeting, quality management, CAP/CLIA readiness, POCT oversight, competency programs, and continuous education in a collegial, high-performance environment.The Hospital Laboratory Manager will enjoy Northwest California’s inspiring lifestyle with redwood hikes, Pacific Coast beaches, river kayaking, weekend wine country excursions, farm-to-table cuisine, craft breweries, art walks, live concerts, and family-friendly festivals—all in a mild climate with a relaxed pace and strong community spirit 🌲.
