The opportunity is all yours and what you want to make of it!As a PHC Tech, you would be responsible for:Performing pesticide applications, including but not limited to fungicide and insecticide sprays, and fertilizer applicationsAbility to identify basic insects, diseases, and treesIdentifying and comprehending chemical labelsContacting homeowners upon arrival at the job site, reviewing work to be performed and noting any changes or add-ons before beginning workCompleting a thorough inspection/evaluation of the entire property for plant health concerns before leaving job site and submitting notes to supervisor, and collecting paymentPerforming fertilization services in accordance with AMTL standard operating procedures, ANSIA300 standards, and OSHA safety regulations and utilizing safety PPECompleting a daily checklist for truck maintenance (including notification of routine maintenance or repair for shop mechanics)Operating equipment such as stump grinders and assisting with stump removal as neededTraveling from one job site to another, utilizing maps, street guides, and other directional resources Requirements:Must be a team player with a positive attitude!Must have a valid class C driver's licenseMust hold a Class A CDL or be willing to acquireMust be at least 18 years oldAbility to follow directions and work independentlyAbility to complete labor-intensive outdoor work with exposure to a variety of weather conditionsAbility to navigate uneven terrain, stand, walk, bend, crouch, reach, and lift in excess of 501bs on a regular basisPossession of a Certified Pesticide Applicator License is preferredIndustry experience or Associates Degree in related field is preferred BenefitsMedical Plan effective 60 days following start dateDental PlanFlexible Spending Account (FSA)Retirement Plan: 401(k) (50% Company Match up to 4%/2%)Short Term DisabilityLong Term Disability (100% Company Paid)$25k AD&D Insurance (100% Company Paid)Employee Assistance Program (100% Company Paid)Six (6) Paid HolidaysPaid Time Off (vacation, sick, bereavement)Professional certification and registration renewalsProfessional development training
