Procurement Analyst (IT Strategy & Projects)

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Analyst to lead end-to-end procurement activities for complex IT projects. This role requires a strong blend of procurement strategy, technical knowledge, and project management expertise, with a focus on software ecosystems and enterprise IT solutions.Key Responsibilities:Lead strategic sourcing initiatives for complex IT projects including Cloud Infrastructure, SaaS, Data Center Hardware, and Managed Services Serve as the procurement lead for cross-functional technical projects, ensuring timelines and stakeholder requirements are met Manage the full RFI, RFQ, and RFP lifecycle, including evaluation and vendor selection Conduct contract negotiations, including pricing, SLAs, and terms & conditions Analyze and interpret software licensing models and entitlements to optimize cost and ensure compliance Collaborate with stakeholders to align procurement timelines with technical project delivery Ensure adherence to procurement policies, regulations, and financial guidelines Develop reports and provide data-driven recommendations to leadership Required Skills:IT Asset Lifecycle & Licensing Expertise (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS models) Strong negotiation experience with high-value IT contracts Experience managing complex RFP/RFQ processes Strong financial and data analysis skills, including TCO and ROI analysis Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously Required Qualifications:Minimum 3+ years of experience in IT software procurement Experience working with enterprise IT vendors and contracts Strong understanding of procurement processes and lifecycle Preferred Skills:Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) Prior experience in public sector or government procurement Experience designing and managing Service Level Agreements (SLAs) Knowledge of market benchmarking tools (e.g., Gartner, Forrester) Experience with license optimization and audit support
