JOB TITLE: Software Dev Engineer IV - Python, AILOCATION: RemoteDURATION: 6 Months (possible extension)PAY RANGE: $74 - $84/hr.TOP 3 SKILLS:PythonExperience working with LLMs and building agentic systemsExperience productionizing AI systems (key requirement)Job Description:Design, develop, implement, test, document, and deliver large-scale, multi-tiered, distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using multi-threaded programming, distributed programming in Java, Python, Typescript, React, SQL, Object-Oriented design, and design patterns. Assist in gathering and analyzing business and functional requirements, and translate requirements into technical specifications for robust, scalable, supportable solutions that work well within the overall system architecture. Own delivery of an entire piece of system or application, and serve as technical lead on complex projects using best practice engineering standards. Produce comprehensive, usable software documentation. Participate in a 24x7 on-call support rotation and travel for onsite troubleshooting or project launch.Qualifications:MS in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, plus 1 year of experience in the job offered or related occupations of Software Engineer, Software Developer, or related.Experience in the job offered or related occupation must involve multi-threaded programming and distributed programming in Java, Python, Typescript, and React.Experience must also involve JDBC, SQL, and Object-Oriented design and design patterns.Requires experience using AI coding tools and with MCP, building agents using any of the agent frameworks.Requires availability for travel and 24x7 on-call support rotation.Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, plus 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the specialty as equivalent to the Master's degree.Core Responsibilities:Build agentic AI systems and applicationsProductionize AI systems and deploy them into operational workflowsCollaborate with internal stakeholders to plan solutionsLeverage AI models and agentic IDEs to generate code and implementation plansDevelop and productionize individual AI agent applicationsRequired Skills:PythonExperience working with LLMsExperience building agentic systemsExperience productionizing AI systems (key requirement)Familiarity with AWSAbility to work in fast-paced, ambiguous environmentsPreferred / Nice-to-Have Skills:Full-stack engineering backgroundReactExperience in AI-driven application developmentBENEFITS SUMMARY: Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
