Onboarding Specialist

Multilingual Onboarding CoordinatorLocation: Lansing, MIDuration: 5-6 monthsDescription:Facilitate entire interview process by managing all parties involved, including the candidate and the hiring managers - ensure adherence to all state and federal laws, and company policies- Consult with hiring manager (and other interviewers) on each candidate and offer helpful insight to assist hiring manager in making final candidate selection- Solicit feedback from hiring managers concerning “satisfaction level” and adjust performance/staffing strategy according to the feedback to ensure continued customer satisfaction- Maintain necessary files covering applications, interview documents, and other pertinent hiring documentation- Perform exit interviews- Process employee status changes- Ensure positive applicant experience throughout the hiring process- Follow all staffing processes to ensure consistency- Remain compliant with our policies, processes and legal guidelines- Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.- Work under immediate supervision- Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.- Performs E-VerifyKnowledge and Skills:Candidate must have Professional working proficiency in the following languages: English, Spanish, Creole, Swahili & French- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills- Possess initiative and the ability to manage multiple priorities well- Ability to be self-directed, assertive, and convey an approachable style- Working knowledge of Dept of Labor Laws/Immigration Documentation Requirements/I-9/E-VerifyRequired Education:Requirements:- High School diploma or GED equivalent- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePointRequired Years of Experience:- 1-3 Years of professional recruitment experienceNice to have:- Bachelor’s Degree- Experience with Workday
