Software Engineer – Real-Time Data SystemsLocation: Denver, CO (Onsite)Employment Type: Direct HireSalary: $120,000–$149,000We are hiring a Software Engineer – Real-Time Data Systems to join an innovative aerospace company developing next-generation propulsion technology.This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of software and hardware, building applications that process, analyze, and visualize massive volumes of telemetry data used during live engine testing.What You'll DoDesign and develop software for real-time telemetry ingestion, processing, and visualization.Build and enhance data pipelines and tools used by engineering teams during engine testing.Optimize software for high-throughput, time-correlated data.Partner closely with test and hardware engineers to deliver reliable, high-performance solutions.Build observability, replay, and diagnostic tools that improve testing efficiency.Desired ExperienceStrong experience with TypeScript.Professional experience with at least one of the following: Go, Rust, C++, or Python.Experience working with high-volume, real-time, or time-series data.Familiarity with NumPy, SciPy, pandas, or similar data processing tools.Experience with data formats such as Parquet, Avro, HDF5, netCDF, Arrow, or Protobuf is a plus.Curious about how software interacts with physical systems and enjoys collaborating closely with hardware and test engineering teams.Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoys solving complex technical challenges.If you're looking for an opportunity to build software that directly supports cutting-edge aerospace technology and has an immediate impact on real-world testing, we'd love to hear from you.
