Freedom for the soul. Are you ready to join us? Our Powertrain Operations facility, located on Pilgrim Road in Menomonee Falls, WI, is where the "jewel" of the motorcycle comes to life. Pilgrim Road employees produce engines and transmissions for the final assembly plant in York, Pennsylvania, as well as transmissions, and replacement parts for sale through Harley-Davidson Genuine Motor Parts and Accessories business. Join our team as aMaintenance Electrical Apprenticeand help build the world's most sought-after motorcycles. This is a State of Wisconsin Registered Apprenticeship. Apprentices will receive comprehensive academic, as well as hands on training in the Industrial Electrical trade. Education RequiredHigh school diploma or GED is required. Preferred EducationCompleted or currently enrolled in an accredited Industrial Electrician Program or equivalent program at a Vocational/Technical School with a minimum 2.75 GPA or 3 years verifiable Industrial Electrical experience. Experience RequiredWe are looking for individuals who: Possess strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Capable of interpreting and comprehending complex machinery manuals and schematics Above average math and computer skills Experience working in a team environment Experience PreferredKnowledgeable in the operation of power tools: Drills, Lathes, Saws, etc. Working experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred Position RequirementsFollow and abide by all safety rules and requirements: Hearing protection Eye protection Safety shoes And other safety rules as required Lift up to 40 pounds frequently and 75 pounds or more infrequently or with assistance Able to operate motorized equipment and powered industrial machinery Work all three shifts throughout apprenticeship Work a minimum of an 8-hour shift plus overtime as requested Candidates will be required to successfully pass the Accuplacer test.
