Senior Laser Process Engineer Job ID: 3232D California Respond with resume to dab@photonicsgrp.com The Senior Laser Process Engineer who will be responsible for the installation and process development of lasers across the corporation. The role provides the opportunity to work with teams of mechanical, electrical, automation, optical, software, and system engineers to improve and bring on-line these technologies company wide. You will produce standard procedures & manuals and train technical staff to perform process optimization, ongoing technical support and improvement of our laser and laser associated processes. Education/experience: Requirements o MS/PhD in Materials Science,, Applied Physics (materials, laser or optics focus), or Engineering with a minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience. o Experience with mass production of diamond, semiconductors, and/or ceramics. o Expertise with applying optical fundamentals, laser materials processing and resolving technical problems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment o Experience with maintaining, tuning, scripting and programming motion control equipment The Photonics Group Call us at 919 479 1941
