Operations Coordinator

Staffing SpecialistAbacus Staffing is seeking a motivated and experienced Staffing Specialist to join our team and support high-volume recruitment for light industrial roles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sourcing, screening, and placing candidates in warehouse, manufacturing, and production settings. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.Key Responsibilities:Manage full-cycle recruitment for light industrial positions (e.g., assemblers, pickers/packers, forklift drivers, machine operators).Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and job requirements.Proactively source candidates using job boards, social media, internal databases, and community outreach.Conduct phone screens, in-person interviews, and onboarding activities for high-volume roles.Maintain candidate pipelines and ensure timely placement to meet client demands.Ensure compliance with employment laws, safety regulations, and company policies.Provide bilingual support to candidates and clients (English/Spanish).Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and prepare regular recruiting reports.Qualifications:2+ years of experience in high-volume light industrial staffing or recruiting.Bilingual in English and Spanish required.Strong interpersonal and communication skills—both written and verbal.Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.Proficient with recruiting tools such as ATS, job boards, and Microsoft Office Suite.Knowledge of local labor market and workforce trends is a plus.What We Offer:Competitive salary and performance-based incentivesOpportunities for growth and advancementSupportive and collaborative work environmentHealth, dental, and vision benefitsPaid time off and holidaysAbacus Staffing 201 Stateline Rd Suite 5A Southaven, MS 38671 (662)470-5846
