Platform Engineer (Python)

Role: Platform Engineer (Python)Location: Cincinnati, OHDuration: 06 MonthsRate: $52/hr on W2This position is well suited for an engineer who enjoys working with complex systems, building deep domain knowledge, and partnering closely with Risk, Quant, Data, and Infrastructure teams. You will be supported while ramping up on Adaptiv but will be expected to grow into a subject matter contributor who can independently diagnose issues, perform platform changes, and improve operational resilience over time.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience3+ years of experience in a platform engineering, production support, or systems engineering roleExperience supporting batch oriented, compute intensive platforms in productionStrong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose complex system and data issuesWorking knowledge of:1) Linux/Unix environments2) Scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell)3) Relational databases (e.g., SQL)Comfort working in a highly controlled, regulated production environment
